SURVEY: 89% of Seniors Who've Tried CBD Would Recommend It to a Friend



Why are seniors turning to CBD? How are they incorporating it into their lives and how is it helping? Remedy Review conducted a recent study of 1,000 seniors (aged 54+) about their CBD usage and the associated benefits and side effects (1).




Dramatic Improvement to Quality of Life


CBD had a tremendous impact on seniors’ everyday living. 51% of seniors that tried CBD reported an improved quality of life.



Health-Related Reasons for CBD Use Among Seniors


Seniors turned to CBD to alleviate many health issues that can worsen with age such as inflammation, chronic pain, poor sleep, arthritis, and general soreness/stiffness.

Ingestion Methods


The survey showed seniors were open to various ingestion methods but the vast majority preferred CBD tincture or oil. With drops directly in the mouth as the most popular method (54.4%) and drops in a beverage next (21.1%).



Top CBD Benefits for Seniors


61.1% of seniors reported reduced pain, which is possible with all ingestion forms of CBD whether tincture, salve, or vaporizer.


Almost half (45.6%) of the seniors surveyed experienced improved sleep quality as well.
